A Graphical traceroute for XEvery so often, I remember to play with this very cool alternative to the command line tool, traceroute. It's called xtraceroute and it gives you a cool, graphical representation of a traceroute on a 3D Earth which you can rotate every which way just by grabbing the graphic and pulling it one way or the other. Debian types can "apt-get xtraceroute" while Mandrake users can do a "urpmi xtraceroute". Others can get their own copy by heading on over to:
