"There was no mention of teaching experience in the author's bio information on the back cover. Doesn't matter. He is obviously an educator, and a very good one, whether or not he ever stood in front of a class or has whatever passes for official credentials. He knows Linux and writes about it in a practical, engaging style that enables the reader to learn rather than be taught or lectured at, and to enjoy themselves in the process.
