Most people tend to recognize my name from the work I've done for Linux Journal and I'm quite happy about that. However, I'd like to introduce you to some of the other publications I write for.
One such publication is InformIT. The articles that come from this series (called "Marcel's Linux Walkabout"), will be listed on this page for now. Since this will be a long-running series, I will break off these articles as the list grows. But for now, Marcel's Linux Walkabout can be found here.

Also on this page is an article I wrote for Ecrix, makers of a pretty darn cool line of tape drives (VXA) and backup solutions. This article was done for their customer newsletter. If you're interested, take a look -- it's not advertising but an article about backup alternatives, from freeware tools to flashy (and sometimes expensive) GUI packages.
