"This is a very good book. Well-written and useful. It is certainly the very best introduction to Linux I have seen." -- Peter H. Salus (read the whole review)
When you are ready to take your Linux experience one step further, consider joining my WFTL-LUG, a kind of worldwide, distributed Linux User's Group. I run several groups under the WFTL heading. This particular group is loosely based around my articles, books and so on. Questions on any aspect of Linux are welcome and, if I don't have time to answer, other list members may be able to help you out. Furthermore, your questions (and the answers that follow) may help others in a similar situation. There is no cost for this and you can unsubscribe at any time. I also provide an IRC channel (#wftlchat) on the chat.marcelgagne.com server.

Questions on the book
Most questions having to do with the included CD are answered in the WFTL Knoppix FAQ.
Errata
Page 28, which describes a method of booting the Knoppix CD from a diskette should not be there at all. When I started the book, I was using an earlier version of Knoppix. As we were going to print, I figured it might be nice to include the latest and greatest, especially since I was trying to push my software coverage that way as well. So I recreated my WFTL Edition Knoppix disk using Knoppix 3.9. Since this release of Knoppix boots from the 2.6 kernel, it is no longer possible to create and boot from a diskette. That's because the 2.6 kernel is too big to fit on a diskette. As such, the rawrite.exe utility is not on the disk either since its purpose was to assist in creating a boot diskette.
My sincere apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
