Suse 10 problem

Suse problems

1. Linux cannot write to NTFS. I ran into this myself. I originally dualbooted Win2k and all was fine. I then changed to WinXP, argh. Read Only.

2. YAST is your friend, learn it love it. As far as installing from CD are you talking about the original install CDs. When you choose from the YAST list of software it will prompt for these and install. If you have .rpms on CD then browse to them with Konqueror and click on them.

3. DHCP is how to get online but it needs to be activated at boot. I don't know how to do this because I always set it up at install. For really good answers to any and all problems in Suse try http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de
