I recently thought about changing window managers and I was trying to find a comparison shopping guide, and had some difficulties. I finally found one but it didn't go into detail, and didn't explain how to install / configure.
So, I guess my idea is an article about Window managers: how to install them (they each probably have their own and it's dependant on distro, so maybe where to find them, or where to get help...), how to change which is the default window manager, what are the major differences, why do some prefer one over the other (some are obligatory, i.e. IceWM for slower machines, etc).
The scope seems a bit broad, maybe there are multiple articles in this suggestion, but for what it's worth, there it is.
