First and foremost, thank you for buying the book and for the kind words. Actually, if you want a CD (or lots even), Ubuntu will ship them to you at no cost anywhere you live. Just visit the Ubuntu ShipIt site or the Kubuntu ShipIt site, fill in the form and wait. Your batch of CDs will arrive in the mail. If you can't wait, send me a private email with your snail mail address and I'll arrange to get a CD out to you.
Funny you should mention the DVD/CD thing. When I was wrapping up the book, I argued for including the CD as opposed to the DVD, specifically because I didn't want to lose anybody. My publisher argued that nobody wanted CDs anymore. I lost.
