I have got ATI Radeon IGP 345M Video Card, Digital Flat Panel Monitor (1024x768), ALi Fast Infrared, PS/2 compatiple mouse, PS/2 keyboard, Conexant 56K ACLink Modem, Intel Celeron CPU 2.00GHz, ALi Audio Accelerator, Toshiba MK4032GAX hard drive. How can I get all these devices working with no problems with knoppix from the CD I got with the book: MOVING TO LINUX: KISS THE BLUE OF DEATH GOODBYE! |

Advice from me, not the
Advice from me, not the best at Linux by far, I'd say most of that hardware will work fine after an install, or if a LiveCD, after booting to it.
I know for sure the Conexant 56K ACLink Modem will not work unless you go to the Linuxant.con drivers page and download a utility to see what modem you have and the driver needed to get it going.
ATI and Linux have a strained relationship but I'm sure a basic driver will at least let you see something on the screen.
That's my two cents.
