Dual-Booting Windows XP and Kubuntu

I run Windows XP as my main OS and I used to dual-boot with SuSE 10. I liked the ease of the SuSE installation because it resized the Windows partition and created a new Linux partition with no trouble at all. I would like to try dual-booting XP with Kubuntu and I'd like to know if this linux will handle resizing and creating partitions as easily as SuSE did.
