wifi in ubuntu

i am seeking help in installing wifi or making it work on t23 laptop and my wireless card is a linksys wpc 54g v2 and also i am a new comer or newbie in linux your help would be appreciated thx a lot

AM having the same problem

I am a Ubuntu user for about 3 months now and love it so much I banished windows from the house! I use Dapper and can get a wireless connection through WEP encryption but can not get WPA to work. I am using a D-Link DWL-G630 pcmia card and have tried to install madwifi since my card is a "C" version. I just can't figure out how to get wpa option running.

Anyone who can help me that would be great.
