I am new to Linux and am tring to install Fedora on some systems that were donated to our church. I had loaded XP on a couple of systems and then loaded Fedora on a couple others. Since these were donated computers, I don't have a license for these machines (XP) and wanted to install Fedora on the others. I had no problems with the systems that I loaded Fedora on initially, but the first one (XP) that I tried to load Fedora on that had XP on it has only a 10 Gig hard drive and I don't want to dual boot these systems, so I told it to write over the existing system (XP). It went fine until the reboot, and it won't boot the error I get is: "Error loading operating system" I can put a Knoptic disk in and it come up fine, but I must need to do something to get it to boot off the hard disk to Fedora... I just don't know what??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Blayne Overman -- rboverman@gmail.com |
