How to access a separate Windows drive

On my setup I have 2 hard drives. Hda1 is the Windows drive (Win XP), and hdc1 is the Ubuntu drive. How can I access the Window's drive? I'd like to pull some pictures and documents off this drive and put them onto my Ubuntu drive.

When I look at hda1 in Disks Manager, it shows the drive with 1 partition "partion 1". The "access path" shows as "none", and the "Status" shows as "inaccessible", clicking on "enable" does nothing.

Is there a way to access this drive via Ubuntu? (I had tried Mandrake v.8 some time ago and I seem to recall being able to easily access the Windows disk.)
