Accessing Windows Terminal Server From Linux

Do you happen to be one of the people who occasionally have to work
with NT/W2K? Do you find that you need to access these boxes through MS
terminal server? Are you forced to log into a Windows client just so you can
connect through MS terminal server? Feeling listless and run down as a
result? Then this is for you!

I had a chance to try out this rather cool little terminal server client for
Linux and I must admit that I am impressed. It's your classic extract,
configure, make and make install build. It's also included on a number of Linux
distributions in a friendly RPM format. Either way, it's a piece of cake and works like a charm. Start by looking on your distribution CDs, or head over to this friendly little URL.

Having to support Wintendo in order to pay for nice gadgets, I use rdesktop quite often. Heaps better than VNC, and far more secure.

"apt-get install rdesktop" for all you Debian-ites (or Libranetties) out there.
