re: wifi card connection
I'd like to hear thoughts on this also. I'm in the same boat. I just recently purchased an Asus WL-520GU wireless router.
I have no problems connecting via wifi to my router with my IBM thinkpad R51 1829 KCF with 128Bit WEP. However when I switch over to WPA-personal I am unable to connect.
I'm using Vector Linux SOHO 5.8.
My Thinkpad's wifi chipset is Intel 2200BG.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions?
@Marcel Gagne, any chance you can ask Leo Laporte to do some Linux segments on occasion? Possibly cover the nitty gritty regarding wpa supplicant?
Sincere thanks,
Marc
