Which content manager have you settled on for the main site? Is this drupal, mambo, or something else? Just curious, I use mambo on another site. Because you were trying drupal, I decided to play with it a bit too but found it very difficult to use and never got anything useful configured on my test server. Mambo has many faults but at least you can get a working site up in reasonable time. I'm interested in your comments and your final choice (if you have made one) |

After playing with both Drupal and Mango, I ended up choosing Drupal, and that is the CMS you are seeing when you visit this site. To be honest, I managed to get both Drupal and Mango running without too much fuss. In the end, it came down to the behavior of certain modules that I liked better in Drupal than Mango -- the feel of the package when it came to maintaining pages. Neither was exactly what I wanted, but both were still pretty good. I know that answer isn't particularly scientific, but it really did come down to how the package felt. Who knows, six months from now, I might change my mind again.
