Every once in a while, I'm going to post something that catches me at the moment; some Linux tip (or trick) that I thought was interesting and that you might find useful. Yes, it kind of leaves you up to the vagueries of your humble host, but it is my site <insert appropriate smiley here>. I'll try to keep this list up to date, but anything here will likely show up on the WFTL-LUG first.
So, without further Adieu and in no particular order, here's my list of tips.
- Installing software packages on Mandriva
- An Automatic Daily Journal Script
- URPMI Made Even Easier
- SuSE Software Package Installs
- Xtraceroute : A graphical traceroute for X
- Mapping applications for one-key launches in KDE
- Discovering new USB devices : HP 1000 mini photo-scanner
- Accessing Windows Terminal Server from Linux
- RPM verifies : What do all those letters mean
- Easier Red Hat kernel builds
